The Company:

Our client is an early stage, London based, ecommerce (SaaS) technology business on the cusp of a major expansion in the UK market. They have developed a disruptive technology offering that will change the way the ecommerce industry approaches improving online user experience and optimisation of their sites.

Having just released a second round of funding there is a clear strategy in place to drive significant revenue uplift, although they already boast some of the UK’s leading Ecommerce names amongst their clients.  

These exciting plans have created a number of new roles including two BDM’s.   

The Role:

These brand new positions will report into a recently appointed Director of Sales to form a brand new team who will have overall responsibility for new client acquisitions. 

This is a consultative, business development role primarily focused on developing relationships with Head of Ecommerce or Head of User Experience in Online Retail clients.

Your efforts will be supported by a strong lead generation programme, a brand new website and most importantly a product that has genuine USP’s and strong value proposition.

The Person:

The successful candidate will have in depth experience of selling digital marketing or preferably ecommerce SaaS technology into key online transactional channels, Retail, Travel and Financial Services. Proven knowledge of these verticals is essential as is experience selling into Ecommerce departments.

The solutions are focused on User Experience and Website Optimisation, so a background in this area will be a plus. Backgrounds selling SaaS based solutions such as Web Analytics, Enterprise level e-Mail Solutions; Ecommerce trading solutions and so on are all very relevant.  

Candidates without experience selling into Ecommerce environments should not apply as you will not be considered at this stage.
