The Company:

Our client is a huge retail group with a truly global presence and a portfolio of well-known market leading high street brands. They are currently looking to significantly expand their digital marketing capabilities and expertise by hiring a Digital Marketing Manager to lead the development and implementation of the global digital strategy.

The Role:

• Delivering outstanding global digital marketing campaigns and programmes that engage people and strengthen brands both short and long term.
• Ensuring campaigns and programmes are fully integrated into brand plans, tracking their effectiveness and recommending course changes as required.
• Championing digital marketing throughout the business and their agencies.
• Managing the relationships and activities of digital agencies, web developers and other suppliers in connection with the online initiative.
• Establishing, developing and reporting on key metrics and evaluating programme effectiveness.
• Helping create support models and guidelines for digital within the defined category for key digital tools and techniques.

The Person:

You should be a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager with extensive experience across all online marketing channels but specifically SEO, PPC, Social media and Affiliate Marketing. The successful Digital Marketing Manager will demonstrate a proven track record of successfully driving increased traffic to a website and retaining existing customers and be used to handling budgets and digital agencies.  An effective and influential communicator the successful Digital Marketing Manager will be comfortable liaising with senior management and reporting on performance.

We will accept candidate CVs from any consumer orientated background, but ideally those who have experience gained from the retail sector.
