The Company:

Our client is a huge retail group with a truly global presence and a portfolio of well-known market leading high street brands.  They are undertaking a significant expansion of their e-commerce capabilities and are looking build a high quality in-house team with expertise across all aspects of Digital Marketing, Design, UX & Web Analytics.  As such they are looking to hire a talented Digital Design Manager to ensure consistency across all sites.

The Role:

As the Digital Design Manager, managing a team of two Digital Designers, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the design strategy at a group level as well as managing and co-ordinating the team workload.   You will define the brand values and ensure they are adhered to consistently across the entire group portfolio as well as ensuring the flawless and timely execution of strategies and plans. You will constantly monitor and evaluate site performance and spot opportunities to drive changes to maximise site conversion and retention rates.

The Person:

We are looking for a Digital Design Manager ideally with experience of working in the retail sector although other B2C sectors will be considered.  You will have team management experience and be extremely proficient in HTML and CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. You will have an innate understanding of great design and be able to communicate effectively at all levels of seniority and with colleagues internationally.
