Their focus is helping world-class brands deliver hugely engaging Social meeting campaigns with strong ROI’s. They are a division of one of the world’s most successful marketing services businesses who have a stated aim to sit at the centre of the marketing and media ecosystem with its data, analytics and tools being a necessary part of marketing decision making. The plan for the role and development of the group is ambitious, unique and exciting. 

The success of their Social Media brand is a key part of their strategy to deliver unique data, insight and services in social media marketing.

The Role:

We are looking for Head of Social Media Technology & Data Services to help manage the business through a shift in proposition and direction. You will be expected to guide and manage a team of Account Campaign and SaaS Managers and so will need to have extensive knowledge of how to deliver Facebook campaigns in line with client targets, primarily linked to acquisition. The SaaS responsibilities also include the deliver training on their ads platform, provide their clients with day to day support and recommend best practices in order to maximise the potential of the platform. This part of the role will require you to be comfortable with technical processes and language and have the ability to communicate these to both clients and colleagues.

You will also have one foot in the new client acquisition camp. Although not a sales role in itself, you will possess the commercial drive to spot opportunity and be able to support the sales effort of the business via your credibility and knowledge of all things Social Media.     

The Person:

We need an analytical individual who can process the data of intricate social media campaigns and variables, and use this information to optimise the campaign and provide the client with tangible insight. A key part of the role is to manage the daily operations of the wider team and you will be responsible for designing and implementing processes in order to maximise operational efficiency.

You will be expected to assist with new business proposals, articulating how the media team can reach goals set by the client as well as how the social technology can be utilised to deliver high performing campaigns. You will also need a creative approach to reaching client targets, in an environment that is fast moving and where constant innovation is required.

This role reports to the General Manager of Social, but will be largely expected to manage the team with minimal day to day guidance. Client facing experience with big brands is a must as is your knowledge of the complete digital landscape.

You should be naturally data orientated and understand the role this plays in multi-channel digital activity.

If you have experience of working with SaaS technology that would be beneficial.
