The Company:

We are working on behalf of a leading retail & consumer business, with a number of distinctive brands known all over the world. Due to continued success and on-going expansion, they are seeking to further build their Digital team, with the recruitment of an Online Trading Manager to be based in the Middle East.

The Role:

The primary purpose of the Online Trading Manager is to take ownership for delivering the category performance, maximising sales and profitability.

The Online Trading Manager will:

• Maximise online sales and profit through the translation and implementation of category strategies and a deep understanding of customer behaviour.
• Deliver insightful and engaging customer journeys that drive conversion, basket size and attachment.
• Take ownership for the development of the Online Merchandising Strategy
• Work closely with Commercial Merchandisers to understand demand and forecasting to enable effective management of stock.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to deliver exceptional product content presentation.
• Improve brand presence online; digital assets, product tours, reviews, brand pages
• Drive sales conversion online with targeted eCommerce shopper marketing
• Develop data analytics and insights capability to drive sales conversion online
• Identify and develop relevant consumer and/or shopper insights

The Person:

We are looking for a highly motivated, driven and numbers focussed Online Trading Manager with a demonstrable track record of delivering significant sales growth online. Your experience will ideally have been gained from retail sector although other sectors will be considered. You will have a deep understanding of site merchandising, content and product and be able to demonstrate the ability to understand customer needs and drive on site conversion. You will demonstrate first class leadership capabilities with the ability to think both strategically and analytically and have the gravitas and credibility to operate at a senior level.
