Technical Account Manager – E-Commerce Technology

This early stage business was established in 2010 and only hit the UK less than one year ago. They have already achieved significant success and have secured business with leading brands in the telecom, utilities, and travel and e-commerce sectors.

Their omni-channel technology offering delivers real-time profiling and predictive intelligence which allows e-commerce businesses to target specific visitor groups at the precise moment when intervention means the difference between basket abandonment and a sale.   
They have achieved significant success quickly and have secured business with major global brands.

They are at the start of the growth cycle so this is the prime time to be joining.

They are now looking for a Technical Account Manager to join the team.

Overall Responsibilities:

 

  • Client management of key accounts
  • Manage proprietary SaaS technology to achieve optimal performance on key accounts, utilising multiple data sources and analytical skills
  • Implementing and reviewing project configuration based on bespoke client needs
  • Review existing business/performance practice and be able to suggest and implement improvements where necessary
  • Deliver monthly reporting and on-going performance analysis for/to a number of key clients (both in person and remotely)


Day-to-Day tasks:

 

  • Communication and management of key accounts
  • Technical configuration of new accounts on SaaS platform
  • Proactively making adjustments to settings to improve performance
  • Proactively provide clients with data on performance improvements
  • Develop new (SQL) queries and reports for internal and external use
  • Provide technical insights and support during new business acquisition
  • Communicate UK performance against key metrics to senior management team.


Desired Skills and Experience:

 

  • Exceptional analysis and analytical skills.
  • Experience with digital/display advertising, usability and/or ecommerce preferred
  • Advanced Excel & database (SQL) skills
  • Advanced client management, presentation and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to effectively interact and work with individuals from different countries, and all areas and levels within the organization
  • Proficiency with other Windows based applications including PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to travel (international as well as within UK) for client meetings, training sessions and company events
  • Self-starting individual possessing characteristics such as trustworthiness, resourcefulness and initiative

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus
