The Company:

A brand new Digital Designer role has been approved at this online consumer finance brand, part of a hugely successful global financial services organisation, based in a fantastic Berkshire location!

A multi-million ATL campaign launched earlier this year supporting digital activity and the ambitious growth plans that are in place. They are currently smashing targets and as a result a fresh raft of investment has been allocated by the U.S. This will be largely used to recruit more expertise and increase budget in specialist Digital Marketing, E-Commerce and Product Development areas. Their proposition is innovative and brings something fresh to the market, which, coupled with a talented and hard-working team is why they are seeing such fantastic growth and success.

The Role:

The Digital Designer is responsible for the creation of a number of assets required across a wide range of comms and marketing activity, to an excellent standard for a range of customers. Tasks include:

• Creative idea and full design and build of a number of digital elements, including but not limited to – Website Landing pages, Page testing elements, banners, email headers, social media elements, info-graphics, Hand-out leaflets, event graphics.
• Design in  Photoshop, with experience in building with HTML and CSS
• Creation of design work of a high standard that answers a brief across a wide range of customer groups

The Person:

• Highly motivated, creative and passionate about digital communications and web
• Interpretation of brief to create high quality design work.
• Examples of your work on which you've lead or helped shape the creative direction.
• Online design experience and a passion for design.
• Fluent with Abode CS5 and working knowledge of FTP, CSS, JavaScript, Dreamweaver and HTML coding.
• Experience working in design/marketing roles.
• Experience with working in a deadline driven environment.
• Good client liaison skills.
• Excellent design skills proven with examples of your finished work
• An understanding of designing and building Flash
• Understanding of rules around building for web (file sizes etc.)

Position: Digital Designer
Salary: £25-30K + Bonus & Benefits
Location: Berkshire
Contract: 6 month contract to perm
