Digital CRM Manager - 12 months FTC

The Company:

We are working on behalf of a market-leading consumer focused brand, renowned for innovation and growth. Driven by improving the lives of consumers and communities, they are constantly adapting their product offering and services. They are currently looking for a Digital CRM Manager, initially on a 12 month fixed term contract, to drive customer loyalty.

The Role:

In this role you will review consumer data, analysing the frequency and value of customers by segment and channel. You will then propose and deliver campaigns to engage and retain consumers, maximising revenue and minimising risk, cost, waste and opt-out.

Key responsibilities will include communications planning, customer value & purchase patterns, segmentation improvements, email, push notification, SMS and MMS programmes including broadcast management, registration and customer experience. The role will work alongside Insight, Brand and E-Commerce Teams to improve customer loyalty, engagement and advocacy through the best mix of digital channels.

Key duties:

  • Lead the customer contact strategy and roadmap. Identifying key initiatives to drive both engagement and sales amongst a substantial database
  • Create and develop segmentations to help  target communications and inform content and product mix for specific groups to drive sales and engagement levels 
  • Work with internal development team to build and deliver a plan for augmenting existing data, using both internal and third party sources
  • Work with the internal application support and insight teams to execute emails, push notifications, SMS and MMS and manage data capture
  • Automate the process of sending relevant communications to players based on data triggers
  • Educate internal team members as to the value and applications of customer data
  • Work with the Brand Manager to select audiences for communications and ensure these are worked into digital contact strategies
  • Manage relationships and budgets with suppliers: ReturnPath, Other Levels, Proximity etc.


The Person:

This role would suit a passionate CRM expert, with a strong understanding of cross-channel digital marketing. You must have in-depth experience of using email platforms and be able to demonstrate prior experience with complex, trigger-based programme set-up, not just newsletter-type communications. This role requires a hands-on candidate who is comfortable with working as part of a team.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 plus 10% bonus
