cloud.IQ is a fast growing and award winning company based in London’s Tech City, Shoreditch.
They offer a range of real-time data solutions via a SaaS platform, targeted at mid-tier e-commerce businesses. Their tech helps convert more on-site sales, re-engage with off-site customers, as well as providing an extensive suite of site analytics and optimisation tools. They operate in a competitive space; however, they offer unique and proven features, which enabled them to secure an impressive portfolio of brands.
Their success to date had primarily been with brands directly. Whilst they did have an indirect channel, it only contributed a very small amount of revenue to the business with a low number of clients, so there was a real appetite to drive indirect growth internationally, to match the direct sales performance.
How we helped
Following a face to face briefing with the Chief Revenue Officer, we commenced with the search in the knowledge the deadlines were tight and the expectations were naturally high, given the importance of the role. As with all early stage businesses, we also know cultural fit would be crucial.
Our initial search and assessment resulted in eight qualified candidates, which was refined to five on further assessment. Through consultation with the client, three candidates were progressed and put through a three-stage process, involving multiple stakeholders.
This project was completed, from the point of briefing to employment contracts being sent out, in under five weeks.
The business has continued it’s phenomenal growth and is quickly establishing great new relationships through indirect channels.
