Currently a team of 12, they are expecting to triple in size in 2018, and as they look to scale globally, they are looking to hire an experienced BDM who will be responsible for managing end to end sales cycles.
As Sales Manager, you will own the sales process and be responsible for generating a pipeline that delivers consistent monthly revenue.
You’ll be supported by the demand generation team, including SDR’s. You will focus on creating opportunities within a specific target enterprise accounts, primarily across Travel and Technology. You will typically be pitching at CMO level, as well as other senior members of the digital team.
Your role will entail conducting online demos, completing RFPs, presenting to senior clients in person and contract negotiations. You will also work closely with the wider business to ensure customer feedback and requirements are communicated internally.
You will also be expected to work autonomously, without the need to be office-based 5 days a week. A realistic OTE in the first year will be between £90,000-£110,000.
We are looking for 5 years of experience in selling digital marketing solutions to brands. This could either be tech related or selling-in agency solutions. If you have sold any video related solutions that would be advantageous. Ultimately, it will be your knowledge of the digital landscape that will be crucial.
You will need to demonstrate a strong track record of target attainment, as well as evidence of securing business with household brands.
Whilst this isn’t a team management role, it would be useful if you have experience of mentoring/working with junior sales colleagues.
It’s likely you will have previous experience in start-ups and be able to demonstrate positive results in this type of environment.
