The Business Development Director is responsible for achieving set sales targets in their allocated territory through the expert acquisition and development of new and existing retail customers.
This is achieved through the development of robust sales strategies, lead generation, effective management of sales cycles, and the maintenance of strong, trusted relationships with customers, prospects, and suspects.
You’ll be supplied with a steady flow of inbound leads to convert along with your efforts to win business with a pre-defined list of tier 1 and high potential tier 2 accounts, across Europe.
Deal cycles can range from three to nine months, with high-value contracts and long term
three to five-year commitments.
The sales process involves converting clients to a pilot initially and conversion rates are high once customers experience significant revenue gains.
Due to the nature of the product, there are a number of senior stakeholders involved in the decision-making process, including CMO, Operations Director, and Innovations teams.
