Salary on offer is up to £55,000 + 100% OTC (un-capped).
The Role
The role of BDM is to deliver new logo revenue for a SaaS marketing technology platform in the Online Retail sector. You will be expected to prospect relentlessly to ensure target attainment and healthy maintenance of a pipeline that will deliver a target of £384k.
The lead generation team delivered over 50% of revenue last year and this team continues to expand, so you can expect significant support. Deal sizes range between £25-£40k and run on relatively short sales cycles, therefore you will need exceptional organisational ability to manage a burgeoning pipeline.
You will target tier 1 retailers, as well specialist and premium retailers, and you will be expected to conduct thorough discovery and need qualification sessions, and ultimately prove the value of the solution.
Whilst not a walk in the park, a strong demand generation team and a great product, that is generally well received by customers, means there is great opportunity to exceed your OTE.
The Person
The successful candidate will be a proven SaaS sales professional, ideally with experience of selling into Retail or E-Commerce.
You will need to be comfortable working at pace and can maintain a high level of performance over a sustained period.
This is a role for a proven hunter and closer who naturally takes ownership of the sales cycle and their own performance.
