The Channel Partner Director wins, maintains, and expands relationships with agreed channel partners to fuel a pipeline of new business leads/ clients.
You’ll be the standard bearer for the company culture amongst partners, and continue to build on a highly successful brand.
The scope of the role is to build out the partner framework, locating, developing and maintaining senior relationships in partners, bringing leads to the sales teams, or having partner sales teams empowered to lead the sales process of our client.
The Channel Director represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused in a partner vertical market.
The Channel Director reports to the CRO and will proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops shared business plans, mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
You’ll work closely with all teams to ensure client and prospect satisfaction and a frictionless working environment. This will include managing potential channel conflicts with other sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
Ultimately, you’ll become renowned as a thought leader in this sector, creating content and building up your social selling index, that will to yourself and the business being the centre of industry attention.
This is a role for an experienced Channel or Partner sales person, with 8+ years’ experience in sales and at least 4 years within enterprise and channel roles.
It’s essential you have owned a channel strategy and target, and understand how to influence other businesses to sell your solution within a partner ecosystem.
You’ll thrive working in an environment as a sole contributor, whilst being a team player who can mentor other team members occasionally.
Our client achieves success by taking an entrepreneurial approach to engage and understand client pains. Ideally, you will have had experience working with either services, retail, or logistics organisations, and understand how they face challenges to keep up with customer buying and delivery expectations.
If not, they can teach you the industry, so you’ll just need to demonstrate great energy, great channel pedigree and a ton of ideas about how to inspire, win enterprise clients through channel partners and drive revenue.
