The Company

We are working with an innovative VC-backed health tech start-up, who have dominated the Scandinavian market with their incredible mobile app.


They were one of the first to launch this type of solution and have always maintained a “customer first” approach, which really stands them apart from the competition.


They have also ensured their technology is in line with the huge advances expected within the industry in 2018 and are already negotiating huge partnerships with public and private companies, to encourage customer adoption.


Having secured a substantial Series A, they are focusing on global roll-outs and growth, with the UK market representing a massive opportunity for them, and as such, they are looking to hire a Marketing team for their brand-new London office, which will initially include a Head of Marketing and a Marketing Manager, to assist them in driving growth and building an even better proposition.

The Role

As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing strategies and programmes to drive UK customer acquisition, focusing on increasing app downloads, customer registrations and usage.


You will also be tasked with driving engagement and retention, by assisting in the proposition development and ensuring customer feedback is captured and actioned.


This role will have one direct report initially, with the intention of building a bigger team as the company establishes itself in the UK.


You will be accountable for every penny spent, so it’s important that you constantly monitor the statistics behind your campaigns and improve them based on data and analytics.

The Person

We’re looking for a Marketing expert that has worked within a start-up environment and has focused on driving native app downloads.


It’s vital that you can demonstrate a complete understanding of the customer acquisition, conversion and retention cycles, including the necessary marketing channels and platforms available to manage these.


You will need to be very hands-on in your approach, but have the necessary experience and knowledge to grow the business globally. It’s likely you will currently be a Senior Marketing Manager/Head of Marketing for another mobile tech start-up.


It’s imperative that you have proven success in the UK market specifically.
