We are currently working with a truly magnificent, early-stage Marketing Technology business who provide a complete marketing solution for enterprise businesses globally. Having acquired a number of smaller tech businesses, they have reshaped their proposition and are very much in “start-up” mode as they now seek to take on the big names in Cloud Marketing technology, with the USP of being a small, agile business, able to deliver quicker and more efficient results.
As the Head of Demand Generation, your role will be to create a solid sales pipeline, through qualified leads in to the the Business Development team.
Your team will comprise of channel marketing experts, as well as lead generation/inside sales executives, responsible for the hands-on delivery of the strategy you build. You will be given a substantial budget to spend and will be accountable for growing the revenue across all global regions.
Reporting directly to the CMO, you will be seen as the 2nd in command and will be expected to fill in for them as speaker at conferences/events, when necessary.
We’re looking for proven marketing experts with previous experience of working within Marketing and/or Ad Technology, generating demand for B2B solutions sold in to enterprise-level clients, across E-Commerce, Retail and FMCG sectors. You must be a team leader and have the ability to oversee both sales and marketing channels. Experience of working within a challenger brand would be beneficial. Most importantly, you must not be a traditionalist when it comes to marketing – our client is looking for a genuine innovator and creative thinker.
Whilst this role has global responsibilities, you must be able to work in the UK without sponsorship. This role will be office-based, with frequent travel involved.
