This SaaS start-up is changing the way the construction and engineering industries manage site operations. Their solution provides real-time access to project site data and removes the reliance on paperwork and physical documentation.
It allows users to build custom forms around their own workflows and drastically improves efficiencies. All of this is delivered via an easy-to-use mobile app.
They were originally founded in Australia, but expanded into the US and are now looking to continue with their impressive growth by opening a new UK office.
The Founders have a mixed background across construction, project management and software development, and have put this blend of skills to work to create a product that had seen considerable success across the market.
We are looking for a senior SaaS sales professional to help launch a brand new office.
The UK Sales Manager will be the first hire in the UK, so will initially be a stand-alone position. The intention is to swiftly hire a Sales Exec and then Customer Success rep, to provide support, before expanding both Sales and CS teams generally.
Even though you will be required to offer leadership as the teams grow, this is a “hunter” role, with aggressive, but realistic, targets where you will drive mid-market and enterprise sales and manage the sales cycles from prospect to demo through to free trial and close.
The majority of demos will be online, but there will be occasions where you will visit clients onsite. You will also be expected to develop networks within the industry and build a positive reputation for the brand in the UK as quickly as possible.
Salary is up to £70,000 basic, plus 100% OTC.
It is highly likely that you will come from a Construction Tech background or, at the very least, have a solid understanding of the construction industry.
An understanding of SaaS models would be advantageous, but you must be able to demonstrate a successful track-record of selling mid-market tech solutions. You will also need to provide evidence of success in a previous start-up.
This role requires a natural self-starter and leader. It’s important that you’ve had experience in building sales teams, whilst remaining hands-on with your sales quota. Culturally, you should be easy to get on with, entrepreneurial and highly-motivated.
You will also need to be a native English speaker.
