This rapid growth has created a new, immediately available position for senior sales professional with proven experience selling ecommerce solutions.
You will work closely with a recently appointed Head of Sales to target medium to large retail and travel brands primarily in the UK, plus EMEA and US.
They have rapidly grown to eighteen enterprise level UK clients and are looking to significantly add to their portfolio over the next few years, and plan to hire additional sales heads in the next twelve months.
This is a great opportunity to join at an early stage, ahead of the next phase of significant growth.
You’ll be expected to generate new leads, as well as manage a steady pipeline of inbound opportunities and achieve a target between £500-600k. This equates to one or two deals each month, and the target will be set based upon years of experience.
You’ll also be able to leverage fantastic relationships with their software partners, and therefore will need to be able to work directly and indirectly.
Given the early stage nature of the team, you will be expected to deliver valuable insight back into the business, particularly in the areas of Sales & Marketing best practice, and how to increase the volume of activity.
We are looking for a minimum 5 years of sales and business development experience in a B2B SaaS Software, or Internet technologies, with an essential focus on e-commerce or retail clients.
This is an enterprise level role and we are looking for a proven track record and someone who can reference well-known client wins.
This is primarily a UK focused role; however, you’ll need to be able to travel, sometimes to Europe and infrequently the US.
You’ll be comfortable representing the company at industry trade shows, and occasional public speaking slots.
You’ll understand what it means to work in a fast paced, exciting start-up environment and be prepared to deal with the ambiguity that comes with that. You should thrive in situations where things can change quickly, rather than be thrown off guard by that.
Above all, we are looking for a highly-motivated sales person who is hungry to earn commission and can manage a high number of opportunities and turn those into great deals.
