The role of Senior Sales Manager is to deliver new logo revenue. You will be expected to prospect relentlessly to ensure target attainment and healthy maintenance of a pipeline. It is likely you will run multiple opportunities in short sales cycles and will, therefore need exceptional organizational ability.
Targets are realistic, set at £396k for the coming financial year, and average SaaS deal sizes are £30k. Equally, there is a significant lead generation effort with 50% of revenue derived from these efforts.
You will target tier 1 retailers, as well specialist and premium retailers, and you will be expected to conduct thorough discovery and need qualification sessions, and ultimately prove the value of the solution. Whilst not a walk in the park, a highly effective demand generation team and a great product that is generally well received by customers means there is great opportunity to exceed your OTE.
The package will comprise of a basic salary up to £75,000 plus £75,000 OTC.
The successful candidate will be an ambitious self-starter who can create a large pipeline of business within a short period, and ensure the pipeline remains healthy over a sustained period.
A proven hunter and closer with outstanding customer referrals and exceptional skills in prospecting, qualifying, developing and closing business. It is essential you can demonstrate success selling SaaS-based Marketing Technology solutions into Marketing and eCommerce contacts, at multiple levels.
You will naturally look to own the sale cycle and support the demand generation team where possible, and ensure yours and their focus is well aligned.
