The Company:

Our client is a successful startup focusing on the crossroads between Predictive Intelligence and Omni Channel Management. Their solution increases online conversion, generates leads for sales departments, as well as reduces the number of customer service calls.

They already have offices in London, Stockholm, Amsterdam and Hamburg and will be launching in USA this year. They are rapidly growing in all of their established markets. The Germany office makes a significant contribution towards EBITA and boasts some significant brands amongst its portfolio.

They are looking to make a significant expansion of the DACH team in the coming months, starting with a Senior Business Development Manager.

 

The Role:

As Senior Business Development Manager your primary objective is to generate new business for a leading SaaS solution. You’ll receive support from in-house lead generation, a senior strategy consultant and the EMEA Marketing Manager. There is also a significant investment into marketing and budget for key industry events to help build your network across Ecommerce, Financial Services, Utilities and Telecommunications.

Typical buyers are the Commercial Director, Online Manager, Sales Manager, Marketing Manager and Contact Center Manager with sales cycles ranging 4-12 months. Complex stakeholder management is essential part of the role.

 

The Person:

We are looking for experienced technology sales professionals who can demonstrate an outstanding track record of achievement at Enterprise level. This experience will have been gained selling to CMO’s or Heads of Online/Ecommerce within consumer facing businesses.  We are looking for candidates with extensive training, ideally SPIN, who have also experienced life as a founder or start-up employee.

Personality is key! This person will ultimately create and shape the culture of the UK office and therefore infectious enthusiasm and bags of energy will be essential.

A considerable network of relevant contacts will also be hugely advantageous.
