Our client is a high-growth US technology business now looking to expand across Europe from a London HQ.

They are the leading independent provider of testing, targeting, and personalisation for websites. Enterprise customers across major Ecommerce channels including Retail and Travel use them to make the most of their online marketing investment and optimise their online channel. They operate in a casual, high-tech environment, work pretty hard, have a lot of fun and enjoy bringing together some of the smartest and friendliest people around.

This fast growing technology company is looking for Market Development Managers for their inside sales team who will help generate leads and support their Sales Directors. As part of a talented team, you will have an opportunity to create relationships with senior members of some of the top companies in the world, while adding to the growth of great business and its client list.

The objective of your role will be to drive sales by developing, identifying, and securing all relevant direct sale opportunities. You will partner with a Sales Director to drive territory coverage in to targeted accounts, typically tier 1 retailers, and maintain positive relationships to the point where they are well qualified and committed to a face to face meeting.

This is not a telesales role; this is a targeted, strategic business development focused position that that also involves executing Product Marketing activities.  Thus, you will be exceptionally high calibre and able to act independently in a highly effective manner. Your sales skills should include the ability to spot opportunity and how to prioritise effectively on the strongest routes to good quality revenue. You will know how to engage clients effectively and how to nurture these through to well qualified appointments for a Sales Director. 

You must bring a record of achievement in a technology sales environment; if this is Ecommerce focused it would be advantageous.
Success in this role will see strong career progression through to Sales Director level.
