Our client is one of the most trusted consumer organisations in the UK. They run a multi-channel operation with branches based nationwide as well as an award winning online proposition. The quest for brilliance in this area has created a need for a number of high-profile roles as they look to further enhance the effectiveness of the web channel.

This role is designed to support the change function of the UX and Digital Delivery team.  The holder will be responsible for the application of a sound UX methodology, supported by the company’s UX and Usability principles, to address the needs of digital visitors and deliver a 1st class user journey.

Key responsibilities:

• To architect the user experience and set the tone, sentiment and attitude of the content whilst considering the user’s eco-system (device, location, education) and ensure that it is scalable, flexible and coherent.
• To offer consultation on ideas, initiatives and changes where the overarching experience wouldn’t be compromised but where UX expertise and know-how would add value on the appropriateness and usability / navigability of any content.
• To maintain UX rigour and discipline through the delivery processes; ultimately ensuring that what users see is compliant, meets UX principles, extols the brand values and is developed with an understanding of what future initiatives might deliver.
• To regularly interpret and address any customer struggle or experience issues using the UX MI, both qualitative and qualitative.
• To be creative, generate ideas and help feed the UX agenda/ roadmap.

We are looking for User Experience experts with experience in managing large transactional websites. Experience of working across multiple platforms (web, mobile, tablet etc.) would be hugely advantageous. You must have a customer-centric approach and understand the importance of a simple and error-free customer journey.
