Our client is one of the Europe’s leading specialist retail businesses.  With an enviable reputation and presence in the market they are one of most exciting and entrepreneurial places to work.  With ambitions to be renowned as one of the world’s leading multi-channel businesses they are looking to hire a Head of Online Trading to deliver the online proposition and drive sales.

The Role:

• Create and deliver the online commercial strategy
• Deliver improvements to the proposition and performance across all formats
• Deliver aggressive trading plans
• Identify and create tactical trading and merchandising opportunities
• Provide analysis of key metrics in order to further improve sales performance
• Deliver the online forecast & budget
• Drive team performance to deliver best in class online trading expertise
• Work with internal teams to deliver a trading execution plan and improve onsite merchandising effectiveness

The Person:

We are looking for a highly motivated, driven and numbers focussed Head of Online Trading with a demonstrable track record of delivering significant sales growth online.  Your experience will ideally have been gained from retail, travel or telco sectors although other sectors will be considered.  You will demonstrate first class leadership capabilities with the ability to think both strategically and analytically and have the gravitas and credibility to operate at a senior level.

Salary: £75 – 85k plus car allowance, bonus and benefits
