Established in 1992, our client is a premium level full service web agency. They boast a portfolio of long standing relationships with world leading brands which they have been able turn into high value, embedded contracts as a result of delivering exceptional service and creating award winning customer experiences online.    

They are able to assist businesses with their digital strategy and transformation and have helped create bespoke solutions from commercial consumer-facing sites, internationally acclaimed e-learning platforms, full scale digital rebrands and corporate communication tools. They are renowned for inspirational creative design and clever technical solutions. They are passionate about delivering cutting-edge solutions to help the big brands we know and love reach their online potential.

They are now looking to ramp up growth and establish a commercial function from London to maximise revenues. They have genuine USP’s and some great case studies to work with and require a Business Development Director to spearhead revenue growth by direct sales contribution and expansion of the business development team.     

The Role:

This is a player manager position where you will initially be tasked with developing an effective sales strategy to build a high value pipeline. This will be targeted purely on well known, household brands with potential high value requirements. As the first new business focused head, you will be expected to own a personal revenue target whilst also helping to build out an affective sales function. This will include identifying and recruiting a strong team of business development executives.     

This is a role that requires a patient approach to sales with the ability to maintain high levels of energy and the ability to maximise networking opportunities.

The Person:

It is essential you have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the digital sector and excellent commercial awareness. We would expect this individual to have a minimum of five years successful commercial sales experience within Digital. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record of digital solutions sales of high contract value, often £1m, with blue chip clients.

It is a given you will possess superior management and organisational skills, including outstanding pipeline management ability.
