The Company:

Our client is a huge retail group with a truly global presence and a portfolio of well-known market leading high street brands.  They are undertaking a significant expansion of their e-commerce capabilities and are looking build a high quality in-house team with expertise across all aspects of Digital Marketing, Design, UX & Web Analytics.  As such they are looking to hire a talented Web Analyst to lead all analytics activity and help to drive sales and profitability.

The Role:

As the Web Analyst you will lead the analytics strategy and help various business units maximise e-commerce performance.

Key responsibilities:

• KPI monitoring and management-level reporting
• Working with the online marketing team to measure and test the effectiveness of email, search, affiliate and social media marketing
• Analysing and identifying conversion issues on our website, and working with the customer service team and Online Development Manager to implement and test
• improvements
• Running an AB and MVT programme, and collaborating on customer segmentation strategies, to drive conversion and increase sales
• Working with other departments within the business on analytical projects

The Person:

Naturally, we’re looking for a strong Web Analyst with experience of working with transactional websites. Ideally you will have excellent knowledge of Google Analytics and other Analytics tools.  An understanding of e-commerce is essential, as is the ability to make proactive recommendations based on the insights you have gained from data.
